Hey, My name's Elijah. I'm new here on Audiokarma, I'm currently trying to repair a Sansui 9090db that I picked up for $15 from a lady that was trying to sell off everything from a property that she's trying to renovate. I came here to get advice from people with more experience. I already posted a thread in the Exclusively Sansui forum. I have lot's of other old audio gear laying around as well that will need attention in the future. I see there's a film camera forum on here as well which I'm going to have to check out because that's another hobby of mine. This seem like a cool place and can't wait to meet you all!

Damn! You're off to a great start, and the 9090db (which I was lucky enough to enjoy for many years) is a true beast. Proceed slowly, listen to the masters around here, and they'll get you across the goal line. Heavily documented here on how to do most anything to it (uh, except maybe that troublesome Dolby board, which I think @LBPete has wrestled).
