Hello, looking for Dual service tech

Notransistors, are you out there?

I recently read a post from 2016 where someone was writing about having there Dual 1219 TT serviced by a guy who went by the name ' notransistors' who has great reputation for servicing these TT's.from what I recall, he was out of Ny.

Hoping to connect with this legend, I have a Dual 1219 that needs his skill set.
Thank you for any help locating him.

Rf3: I'd guess, that you've found him by now, but just for the record, there's a "Members" tab at the top - if you switch over to that (or open the corresponding link in a new browser tab or window...), you should find a little box on the right side, named "Find Member".

He's here. As said above, PM him. You got the best one. Worked on many Dual's. They all go away, except the 1219. Have three of them! Started with the one in my avatar,<<<<. Got this one designed around the Dual built base and cover. Daily driver- work horse! Serviced it five years ago. No issues. Found an early version where the cue does not work on multi cycle. Fixed up and lives,a in the LR. Last, I bid on EBay a 1219 for $100. Did not think I would win it as these have been going up. Bench Dual.

Now to Seth, he makes me look like an amateur. I can do tune ups on Dual's. Except cues and tone arms. He is the man. Look up his posts where he removed tonearms off a 1219 and a 1229 to compare them then put them back on the original turntable. That's a Wow! He will get you going! Welcome to AK!

Thanks Lini, Sterwo Fisher, & good to have found you NoTransistors, will go to members page to get your contact info, I do not facebook, I am an analog guy in a digital world ! lOL! & just do not have time to facebook.... Although if I did, I most likely would have found you easier...
