Hello to all from Inland Empire, CA

Hello All,

I'm actually a newbie to Audio in general.
I'd like to learn from you guys.

I was messing with DVD-A with 5.1 ch in the 90's, but my passion was faded away and I didn't like the setup that much with a bunch of speakers all around.

Lately, my friend gave me a set of Bose 901 series III and I had no clue as to what kind of amplifier to pair with. So I found / read this forum and bought a Pioneer SX-1250 on Ebay.

Please let me join to this wonderful forum!

Welcome from another SoCal denizen! Whereabouts in the IE are you, we have quite a few in and around the area.

Hi, Analognewbie! I just joined myself a few days ago (see my intro below yours: "former Sony Factory Tech here"). I also live in the IE, Rancho Cucamonga. Anyone else from this area on here?

And mech986, I lived in La Habra from 1981 - 2001. Lived near the intersection of Whittier Bl and Harbor Bl. about a block or two from Paul's TV "the King of Big Screen". :)

Greetings and nice choice on the receiver. I see good scores on the IE CL pretty regularly. Bet you have a back up system soon!

"I am the King!" Heh, I pass by there every time I head to my mom's house. I live up at the southern top of Idaho street. Lots have changed in La Habra since you left.

BTW, I'll be working in Rancho in mid-January so maybe we'll cross paths.
