New on this forum, happy I've found it..
Was a very nit picking HiFi lover some time ago.
Many years ago I build my own 150W Class-A amp which is in the closet as we speak. Now digging into the PMA-980R thread to fix my dad's amp.

I can tell you, it has been a while since I picked up my electronics tools. But I guess it feels natural when I do :D

Furthermore, I am a reader, so probably not so a poster, but if I can be of any assistance... I will :music:

Welcome to AK! A 150W Class-A amp, hmmm? I take it you sold your furnace & plan to use the amp exclusively.:)

Judging by the Y'all, he is also a southerner ( I was born in Alabama and live in Texas; I'm allowed to make this generalization :D). That is just masochism! Do you hate your AC, sir?
