Greetings from southern NJ.
I made a wonderful mistake about a year ago when a friend gifted me a truckload of vinyl (his dad worked for Columbia) and I resurrected my old Onkyo receiver and ran it through some 301's and a Dual 621. I now have a minor case of GAS and gathered some decent starter equipment since getting the bug and anticipating retirement from aviation. Picked a few Fisher and Onkyo amps and a couple of Thorens TT's, and am looking forward to picking your brains for knowledge as the questions develop....
