I've been lurking on AK for a while, and I decided to create an account and introduce myself. I'm just a teenager who has a passion for vintage audio; whether it be low-fi, mid-fi, or hi-fi. The best equipment I have is some Pioneer Silver from the early 80's, an SX-50 receiver and a CT-50R cassette deck. The rest? Well, let's just say that it's all junky budget stuff from Goodwill that sounds good to my ears at least. We all start somewhere, right? :p This seems like a great community, and I'll definitely be sticking around for a while!

Welcome! Your right....we all have to start somewhere! The great thing is that you have a desire to seek out something other than what's being touted these days as good audio. Stick with it and you'll be surprised how your system will evolve into something 100x's better than what you have now. Lots of folks on here happy to give you guidance. Rock on!
