(Help) 1st time Changing a woofer

Hey guys :) !

First post here! Please pardon my english, not my mothertongue ; I wont know the technical terms you're gonna use ;-D !
I'm trying to change a couple of speakers for the first time by myself, and I'm not pretty sure of what I'm doing ! I'll require a lil' help here please :)

So basically, I've been given those two speakers by my brother ; the two woofer at the bottom are dead, and I must change em ; Here are the poor infos I've got :

So I'm trying to target what to buy, to be sure it's gonna work -
The woofer size are 8 inchs

I found those online, could you guys tell me if they are what I'm looking for ? And Is it gonna work correctly ?

You need to find out what impedance the original woofers are.

Given that the cabinet is rated at 8 ohms- chances are the woofers are either 16 ohm (wired in parallel- more likely) or 4 ohms (wired in series- less likely).

Hopefully, they will be marked on the rear of the woofer. It would be worth pulling one out to see, before trying to buy replacements...

I dismounted both woofers, and this is what I've got ; no more ; is this what we're lkg for ? :s

Do you know anyone with a volt/ohm meter? It would be best to test one of the still-working woofers, for resistance.

If you can arrange that- you would be looking for a resistance reading (on an ohm meter) of about 10 to 15 ohms for a nominal 16 ohm woofer, or 2.5 to 4 ohms for a nominal 4 ohm woofer. That will tell you what you'd need to buy, to replace the dead ones.

If you can find a suitable replacement- I would recommend putting one of the working original woofers in the top position in each cabinet- and one of the new woofers in the bottom position in each cabinet. That way, they two speakers should sound the same as each other.
