Anyone scrapping a Sony TC 270?? We have just acquired one for our audio museum and it is missing the cover over the heads (it has a mechanical problem as well but that is another story....) If anyone can help with the cover please message me/ Would also be grateful to know exactly the procedure for moving the unit from USA to UK. The manual tells how to switch to 240v, 50Hz, but also refers to replacing the main idler pulley. Presumably one could just obtain the standard UK wheel and swap it out? {in fact we may be moving our entire museum to the UK soon.} Thanks in advance!
