TT is a Realistic Lab-290. It was playing a bit fast so I went to adjust it. As I toyed with it some hardware broke off (pictures attached). Is this something I can fix or do I need a technician on this?

those type of trimmers are garbage. I've had more than one fail in this exact way. The part on the back has two fingers that bend into the half moon shaped wiper. The little fingers bend or break and it falls apart. If the fingers haven't snapped off maybe you'll get lucky and it will go back together but I haven't had much luck with that.
Replace the pot (I'd do both honestly) with a better one in the correct value. It may be stamped on the half moon shaped thing what it is.

A sealed Bourns pot is a much better option, and I'd replace both of them. Open frame pots like that can get oxidized and dirty leading to speed issues.
Probably 3386F will fit if you bend the third leg over some, that's what I use in everything with those pots. The value will be listed on the schematic if you have a service manual, not sure what it is off the top of my head. Typically these are $1.60 or so from Digikey or Mouser.
I'd replace electrolytic caps while I was in there, especially any axial PS caps that are going obsolete and will no longer be available in the future.
