Hey there, first post!
Alright, so I bought this pl-1150 at a garage sale and while I waited for a belt in the mail I spent a good amount of time on it cleaning it resurfacing plastic, and re-veneering the plinth.
Got the belt and threw it on and now I realize the up and down don't work as well as return button. It doesn't look like they are even trying to work. The arm holder won't go down unless I push it down (so it isn't seized) and the return button doesn't click or anything just loosely presses down and goes back up. Does anyone have any advice on where to start? I have only done cosmetic work on players before, but am willing to do more complicated things if some has knowledge to share! Thanks,
