Help fixing a Wharfedale amplifier

Bought this amp and speaker set at a garage sale, owner said speaker dont work. I've tried out the speakers and they are great. Turns out the active subwoofer does not output signal to the speakers. The sub woofer speaker itself is going though.

I opened up the back plate to see if there was a fuse out. Only found two 6.3A fuses both intact, makes sense now because the sub is firing. There isn't any apparent damage to the circuitry and cant figure out why the speaker outputs are busted.

Any ideas on how you'd go about troubleshooting this? I have a basic understanding of electronics and have tools/multi-meter/soldering iron, etc.

Not quite sure what you are saying but the speaker terminals (red & black) are actually inputs not outputs. It says "speaker level inputs" on it right there.

These are speaker level inputs that are used with integrated amplifiers/receivers where you actually connect the speaker outputs from an integrated amp/receiver into them to drive the sub woofer.

There is actually a 3rd fuse right by your thumb in your 3rd pic. This is the main power fuse.

This is just one way to run the sub if you don't have or don't want to use the RCA input options.

Am I correct in this assumption?

Everything is probably working as it is supposed to.

Yikes, I feel silly. I assumed this was an active subwoofer since it didn't have an amp when I picked it up at the garage sale. Thanks a lot.

It is an active subwoofer. Only it accepts line level or speaker level inputs.
