Help fixing auto-return on Technics SL-FM1

Do any turntable wizards have any idea what I can do/look into to fix the auto return not working on my turntable? The stop button doesn't work either.

Any help is appreciated, I can't find any resources online cause it's such a niche TT.

Hi! Sorry for upping an old thread, but did you find the way to fix the return/stop function? I am struggling with it now as well
