Help ID these RSL (Rogers Sound Lab) speakers

hi all,

Got these on a whim as I’d never heard RSL before. They’re about 42” high and 12” square. Quite heavy for their size with 3 panel grills which DO NOT want to come off. Appear to be super glued or otherwise attached in a serious manner.

They sound really, really good.

They look very similar to RSL 6600H which, however, are wider at 46"x18"x11".

Okay, yeah, definitely in that series. 12x11x42 give or take an inch. Trying to find a brochure or something...

I will, but think it’s kind of fun to do internet detective stuff. Also, been through EVERY brochure on their site and the only one that’s close is the RSL Sierra, of which there are no pictures anywhere...

I seem to recall that RSL made a couple of thin column speakers, one being the Model 4200 (see a current listing on FleaBay) and I can't remember the other. Those model sold in very low volumes as they couldn't play very loudly compared to RSL's larger models. These were for people who could spare very little floor space of just liked the look of them.

On some cloth clad RSL speakers the cloth was mounted to thin wood panels held in place by velcro but this looks the cloth may have just been wrapped and the cloth secured which would make driver access very difficult.
