Help identify Altec speakers

Busy, busy, busy
My first system, around 1973, consisted of a Marantz 1030 integrated, Dual 1219 TT with unknown cart and Altec two way speakers that could be called bookshelf in size. They had "slate" tops and bottoms. Looking down at the top of the speaker, it was
PXL_20230507_213431229.jpg shaped as such. The foam grill also stuck out in the same pattern from top to bottom.
A woofer, probably 8" or 10" and a horn.
I can't remember the model. Was it a number or was it a name?

I thought it might be the 8788 Santiago, considering a horn and slate tomp, but that model uses a 15" woofer. A bit large for a bookshelf also.
Your profile drawing looks a bit like the 9846-8A (1971 Monitors), but no slate and woofer also looks large along with an overall size and weight that does not jibe with bookshelf.

Me and my younger brother both remember the speakers as being Altecs. I bought the system from TEAM Electronics in Sioux City, Iowa around 1972 or 1973. In 1976 I moved to Houston and I sold the system to my younger brother.
 
I have never ever ever ever ever seen so much as a picture of those, and the only way i found that was by googling Team Electronics and Altec together. Note the ink stamp on the front of the slick sheet. Perhaps they were built for, and marketed by Team exclusively as they do not appear in ANY Altec catalogs or other literature. The Design series of Altecs are a bit mysterious. After a few decades, maybe some light is finally being shed.

Maybe AI just created that sales slick and i'm full of hooey. ;)

Team Electronics in Minneapolis was the only audio chain that stocked lots of Altecs in MN back in the day. I used to drool over them, they had most of the furniture grade Valencias and other models, but I never saw the Design series.

Those University horns are great tweeters.
 
Lots of Altecs at that Sioux city store. I commented on how big the VOTT's were and the manager said he sold a pair to a guy who lives in a trailer.
Sounds like maybe Altec made a model for TEAM? And that's what I got.
 
Team's speakers were produced by a New York Company called Becker Industries, which at the time specialized in Private-label manufacturing. The cheaper lines Team carried were produced by Winona Industries in Minnesota.
