Help Identify: Altec, Wharfedale, G.E.??

Can anyone help me identify these two speakers? I removed them from a very old pair of G.E. (General Electric) speaker cabnets but they look like pretty good speakers so I'm not sure if they are just old G.E. products or hopefully something better? Please help. The larger speaker meaures 12 inches across and the other 4. Thanks for any help.

The woofer looks to be an old alnico one, but not Wharfedale though (not if it's that old).

I've seen a tweeter like that somewhere, but again, not Wharfedale as far as I know. They were using cone-tweeters back then.
