Help Identifying a Cartridge & Stylus Make & Model?

Picked up a Yamaha YP-B2 tt in very good shape with this cartridge and stylus (see pics attached). . . not sure what I have for a cartridge or stylus . . . they are working, but thinking of upgrading the table and using it more. Maybe, at least a better needle.

I do recognize one word "Ortofon" but could never figure out which Ortofon Cartridge and what replacement stylus would sound best, or whether this is just bottom super budget cart and budget stylus. Not sure if this is the original cart and stylus on the Yammy. Friend pulled it out of open shelf storage and gave the tt to me.

All help identifying the cart and stylus, and evaluating whether it/they are worth keeping in service.

It looks like a VMS-3E cartridge. I used to have one many years ago. The replacement stylus body was white in color and said VMS 3E on the front. It looked exactly like yours.
 
It's defiantly an Ortofon. If your replacing the stylus pay close attention to the way the back of the stylus is designed. In your case it's hourglass shaped.
