Help identifying RCA console

[kappclark]

Apologies if this should be in a different forum, but I figured the item is probably a tube unit, so asking for help identifying it -

spotted it on CL -- Asked if it was tubes or not - they didn't know what I meant ..

Any RCA console gurus out there ??

Yes, it's tube.

It probably has the push pull 6V6GT 10 watt amplifier.

Wow @dcgibby --- I cannot express my thanks for the link to the radiomuseum, and the schematic ... just so helpful and what a valuable link. !

What a wonderful community ..

If this is correct the amp is a RS-151A

YES - That is the one for sure ... Looks like a mono amp from the schematic... 4 speed record changer ... 16 33 45 78 .. never actually played a 16 record... happy enough today with a 2-speed AR

I only owned one 16 speed record when I was a kid and if I remember right, it was a Disney record.

The Seeburg 1000 music system plays only 16 speed records. Really cool system.
