they are marked on schematic as r901 r902 ..6.8k 1/2 watt .

I'm color-deficient too and so was my dad. Both of us tinkered with electronics kits and resistors we're always a bit of a challenge.
Anyway as I read this I was thinking wouldnt it be great have a smart phone app for that. And it turns out there is. Look for resistor color scanners or some such like that. I haven't tried them but they are out there.

Back in the days of HUGE Ohmite 1/2 watt Little Devils, the colors were much better and larger. Todays 1/4 watt resistors are not only much smaller, but the colors are not as good. Even if one is not color blind, it is often difficult to differentiate between similar colors (brown and red, red and orange, blue and green, etc.) There have also been cases of incorrect packaging and even rare cases of incorrect markings. A friend that allowed smoke to escape due to an incorrectly marked resistor recommended that ALL resistors be checked with a meter.
