Help Identifying Speakers - Thiel Look-alike

Someone has posted these speakers for sale locally, saying the brand is unknown in the listing. They resemble Thiels, but I don't believe they are.

Any ideas? Maybe a homemade Thiel knockoff?

Looks like a home made speaker to me. Audax tweeter & Peerless midrange were commonly available to the DIY'er. Top three drivers are too far apart, definitely not for near field listening. They are not Thiels.

Yeah, I figured they aren't Thiels - definitely a few differences from any model I've seen. Although, they look Thiel inspired.

They look to have nice cabinets. If they're not a production speaker, whoever made them had some skill. Or so the photo would have me think.

Sloped front baffles boards like they have and rounded corners are reasonably hard to make compared to a slapped together box.

Agreed. These were no amateur project. They even look somewhat familiar, despite the Thiel resemblance. If they're cheap I'd at least give them a listen.
