Help identifying speakers

Does anyone know what brand of speakers these might be? There is absolutely no branding on them and the vintage audio equipment store I picked them up from didn't know either. They sound great and fit in with my decor so I got them but I'm still curious. :scratch2:

No idea, but they look like a hundred watts or so would make them rock.

You might pull the woofer, and see whats marked on it.

at first glance i thought kenwoods but...they look more like they came from a theater or something so i would say maybe Vega's or Ev's but the EV's are less likely. They look like they would sound good. How much did you pay for them?

Magnavox made a speaker very similar to that except without a port.

That looks like a mighty nice CTS woofer.

I wonder if they were a "house" brand.

They do look like my dad's Magnavox speakers with the big woofer and the horn. I don't think his have a port though. Maybe someone decided to have some DIY fun one weekend?

I had a setup like that sans port when I lived in Arizona, they were Magnavox. The horns were very good.

They look DIY to me, and kind of promising (at least in terms of parts, even if the design turned out to be a failure). They also look like they have way to much insulation for a bass reflex.

The horn looks like the Heppners' that are in a old set of Magnavoxs' I have. Originally they were 2 ways but I've modified them quite a bit. Mine aren't ported...
