Help Identifying these speakers? Amson?

Would love to see if anyone can help me identify these speakers I just bought them yesterday at an estate sale. They are 29" tall, 18" wide & 12" deep. They weigh 56 Lbs each & the only writing is on the back near the terminals. There are 2 knobs for what's labeled as the "Crossover Network" 8 Ohm. One is labeled "Center Range" & one "tweeter" and they say "Sound By Amson". 2 sets of terminals. A kit or homemade speaker? Looks like I'll have to take off the tacked-on trim to access the innards. Getting ready to hook them up & give a listen.

Likely homemade. That backplate has all the hallmarks of being done by someone with a lettering kit.

Not to say there couldn't be something nice inside...:thmbsp:

Happy trails,
Larry B.

Thanks Larry, I wonder why so heavy? Guess I'll need to open them up to find out-looks like they are put together with finishing nails.

Just gave them a listen. Somethings Awry-guessing foams. Guess I'll get to take trim off & examine them. Maybe I can find the Anvil in there too.
