Help identifying these speakers.

Hey guys.

I purchased an sx-1280 today from an out of state online estate auction - it came with some randoms - one is which is a pair of speakers I’ve yet to come across. Currently I’ve only got the photos from the listing to go off of and am wondering if anyone recognizes what these might be? Images attached.

If no one here can tell you then the speakers don't exist.

Look like rack system speakers to me

Or worse. It looks as if the cheap grill cloth is attached directly to the front baffle, and the manufacturer didn't even bother to paint the baffle black to hide that.

Welcome to AK!

I don't have any guesses on the speakers, but the SX-1280 is a great piece, IMO the best looking Pioneer receiver of the era and a solid performer. I have a feeling that you'll try a couple pairs of speakers before you're finished.
