Help knowing if Sansui Receiver & Speakers will work well with pioneer pl-12d

Hey guys,

I am looking to pick up a receiver and speakers to go with the Pioneer PL-12D turntable. Would anyone know if the Sansui AU 2900 Receiver and Sansui S 45c speakers would work well?

I have found a package deal for these on Kijiji for $250.

The Sansui AU 2900 Receiver and Sansui S 45c speakers should work with the Pioneer turn table.

Sansui S 45c speakers
Should be able to handle up to 55 watts maximum.

Can not give you an opinion on either, have not listened to them.

Is it possible for you to audition/listen to them yourself?

Go with a couple of big reliable friends/brothers.
