Help - MC 2105 suddenly no sound

Are replacement switches still available from McIntosh? If not, is there a drop in aftermarket part available? Or is this type of switch unobtainium?

Contacted Mcintosh parts department the answer is NO.

I don't know if there is any alternative replacement parts available in the market, it's just a dual channel switch, it take some effort to find the one fits to the Mcintosh front plate..

Update:

Open the amp today, the Speaker On/Off switch is truly dead , I opened it gave a try but couldn't fix.

so I did a by pass wiring to remove it from the circuit. The wire colors are:

One channel: Brown wire + Purple wire connected to White wire

One channel: Brown/white wire + Purple/white wire connected to White wire (with some brown dots)

Then I found that the RIGHT channel has no sound, the meter has no reading on it too. I found the same issue when I was trying with headphone a few days ago, one channel is very very weak, so I am pretty sure the issue was there before I did bypassing. Any hints?

By checking the input of each channel we will be able to tell you what to do

Final update to make it a closure:

I took the amp to the technician who did the recap on it 3 years ago. He nailed the root cause -

It's the soldering points loosen on the driver board for one channel, hence the weak output level at the speaker..

Will pick up in another week, as the technician refused to dispatch it without extending run on it, he doesn't like to have me take a 70 pounds back and forth...

I am thinking maybe I can add some test instruments and make a work bench in garage some days later, before that need investment on a bigger house with a double garage.. Oh man, life is getting crazier...

You're lucky to have a tech nearby that does this kind of stuff. Sounds like a good one. Not many exist(good or otherwise) these days.
