Help me ID this old General Electric turntable

Hi everyone. Picked up this old GE turntable/stereo from an estate sale today. I don't see any identifying serials or dates on it anywhere. I want to pickup a needle for it at the very least but I'm not even sure how to get the tone arm to flip up far enough to get a good look at it.

I haven't taken the bottom off to look at the changer mechanism yet, but I've worked on VM and BSR changers before so I'm hoping this turns out to be similar. By the spindle design I'm thinking it's a BSR without even taking off the bottom yet.

Posting this in solid state because with the way its designed, I think it has to be. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Either way, I'd appreciate some help. Thank you!

Haha thank you! I must admit although it looks like the picture is rotated incorrectly, I actually had the turntable on its side when I took it.

Examine the head shell. It might just pull out but I am not sure as I have never owned one of these. Someone else will most likely chime in and tell you how to remove it or what type it is.
