Help me solve a speaker mystery

Anyone have any idea who makes these speakers? Found them on Craigslist and the seller said there are no manufacturers marks anywhere. I thought at first they were old JBL C series, but the legs aren't right. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Any chance the seller would allow you to come over and remove the back of one of the speakers to take a look at the drivers used inside? Then the seller could take a picture of the backside of the drivers to post with their listing if you were not interested. This could either be a real score or a real disappointment, but those cabinets could be holding some fine vintage drivers or something more pedestrian like Utah units.
 
I sent the seller an email hoping to go take a look tomorrow, but that's a really good idea. Thanks! Anyone else have an light to shed? I've never seen speakers cabs like that before.
 
I saw those same feet on another post recently in the speaker forum, I can't recall exactly what thread it was but the guy got them new and applied them. I think it may have been a Wharfdale model.
 
I have a very similar pair that my grandfather built in the mid 60's. Good chance it was a Heath Kit with the possibility of Goodman drivers made in England labeled as Knight. Mine is a 3-way with no crossover, just a L-pad. I just retired them last year.
