Thanks for the great pics that will help greatly! Ok so maybe that small board is not the protection board. In the picture you have with the transformer and amp is showing.....its the small board in the middle...with the two sets of twisted red and white wires. There is also a yellow and gray wire at tha top. The amp wiring runs to this board and the over to the speaker connections. When I got the MCS the sound was getting to the board but would not leave it. So I just bypassed it. Any ideas what this board is or does?

Hmm... I can give you my best guess. Those twisted pairs of red/white wires go to the speaker selector buttons (A, B, A+B). Perhaps you are bypassing these switches because they are failing to pass through the signal that the should?

I'd start with a can of Deoxit, and hit all the switches/knobs while you're at it!

It's done!

The lights from Dave showed up over the weekend, and after work Monday I went at it. The hood lights took all of 3 seconds to install. Notice the left meter light works and the right meter light doesn't in this pic...

Just had to put some solder on these leads, and two lights are lit!

Next up, some speakers to match! Suggestions?

MCS 3275 no sound or lamps
Hi All, I have a MCS 3275. bought it not working hoping i could fix it. Powers on and I can hear the relays. Meters and EQ LEDs light, tuner meter and mpx stereo lights with in tune. But I get no sound and no lamps. Lamps do have 10v and none are blown..What have I done? Checked all fuses including under panel and also check for cold solder and re soldered relay board..nothing looks blown, no burning smell..cant find schematic so Im hoping someone has come across this issue before, i would appreciate and help ...gilbertg5150@yahoo.com
