HELP!! Need New Tone Arm Wires!!!!

MarSanZ

Simple Pleasures...
Hey All,

It eventually happens, one of the connectors broke off on my tone arm. I was able to solder it back on without the color coded sleeve, can anyone tell me were I can get a new tone arm wire for a Denon DP 59L TT thanks. I believe it's a 5 DIN connection at the end of the wand.

Thanks in advance for you cooperation.

If you were able to solder the connector back on, why do you need tonearm wire? And do you mean all the wires or just one?

Hakaplan,

It was just one, I was able to solder it back on and it works fine. It happens to be on the side of the cartridge where you can see it. I was not able to get the sleeve back on and it's bugging the heck out of me. I am that type of person who wants it perfect every time if possible, hence looking for new wires. I went to www.dedicatedaudio.com and they have tonearm wires that have the pins already soldered or you can buy the pins separately. I am hoping that the Cardas wires will give add some improvement.

Thanks.

Hi,

I live in AZ and the Dedicated Audio website has some really cool items. Thanks for the link.

Good luck with your TT wires. If all the other (3) wires have sleeves it should be fine if you did a good soldering job. I agree with Hakaplan, if it is ok, I would not mess with it, but thats me.
