Hello,
I recently bought a couple of Pioneer CS-E 600 speakers, in a garage sale. While the speakers sound very good, the midrange drivers do not look to be in good shape. I ignore how much this affects the sound quality, but they look awful (center parts are severly pushed back). I carefully removed one, and the driver has the code 12-707F-1 stamped on the back. I have not been able to find a replace of this on the Internet.
However, I noticed that other Pioneer speakers have drivers that look similar to this. In fact, I found out that CS-77As Speakers have midranges code 12-702F. These are frequently offered in e-bay, and they look very similar to the 707F
Would somebody know if these are interchangeable? or, if any other midrange would fit my CS-E 600 speakers? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
