I have been a silent participant on AK for a couple of years now. Wanting to repair my Marantz 2220b but not having the education I was hoping to pickup enough that I could someday hear the music that got me through HS and college way back when. I have used mostly computer websites and found help from some good people. BUT ... the participants and especially the experts on this site are helpful, patient, encourageing and excellent teachers. Every problem has a lesson to learn. I am proud to be a new member on AK and want to thank the membership and those doing what they do behind the scene. Ya'll do a really good job. Personally, I want to thank patfont, petehall347,PB_AUDIO,overundr1, Leestereo, rBuckner and I could go on and on.

Thank You All,

Yes, I completely agree with you.

There are a number of extremely knowledgeable members, those you have listed and many more, on this forum who share there time helping others.

I have received help many times and I have learned an incredible amount from these people and I'm very grateful to everyone of them.

Welcome to AK! I completely agree. I started from ground zero a couple of years ago, and the experts on AK patiently worked me through my first, a 2220, and then bailed me out over and over as I worked my way up the ladder - 2230, 2245, 2270, 2275, 2325. In a million years I would never have been able to do this without AK. You are in good hands with whatever you tackle with your next rebuild. Did you get your 2220b up and running yet?

Well said, Ardis. Next step I recommend is to become a subscriber, get access to Bartertown and support the financial health of this wonderful AK resource. Google recognizes the value of this site often directing questions to AK first.

That is an excellent idea. I am a retired programmer that lives about 15 minutes from Mouser. My biggest hindrance is myself.

Steven Tate- The answer regarding my 2220b is "not yet" but it's coming along'

If you’re close to Mouser, you must be close to me. I just moved from Crowley to N. Richland Hills. Are you near Mansfield?
