Help planning out system

Hi All!

Thank you in advance for your input and advice.

I've run into somewhat of an interesting predicament (imo, lol).

I got my system up to a level that I absolutely love after over a decade of upgrading each component (other than the fact that movies/tv dont always sound right without a center channel speaker). Includes the following:

- Goldenear T7 tower speakers
- (1) Goldenear Forcefield 3 sub
- (1) Schiit Vidar power amp
- Freya S preamp
- Bifrost 2 DAC

Well, as it goes, i attempted to save some coin when i first purchased my Vidar buying it used. Saved $100 but am now kicking myself as its given out on me, and of course, no warranty with used gear. As an interim solution I grabbed a cheap Harman Kardon AVR 8000 A/V Receiver (no idea what year its from).

With the ability to finally add a center channel, i picked one up this past week - the Goldenear 50C.

I've also purchased a SECOND Vidar (Schiit's black friday/Cyber monday deals were pretty good actually. They added a bunch of B-stock/Closeout deals and had to pick one up - as ive been wanting to use the Balanced connections on my Freya and you cant do that without using 2 Vidars as monoblocks. Now when my first Vidar is fixed, ill have the ability to use the balanced connections and plus, i made sure to save some coin AND get a 5 year warranty.

Because Schiit audio doesn't provide LFE connections for a subwoofer, right now my sub is hooked up by speakerwire in between my single vidar and stereo speakers.

SO -- Here's where im at. I've basically built 2 separate systems. 1 for movies/tv and 1 for intentional music listening. I want the ability to use my sub with both systems. I've been reeling over how im going to be able to combine the two systems. My initial thought is getting an amp selector. Something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Amplifier-Speaker-Audio-Switcher-Display/dp/B096KLDMCV

If i was to get one of these, I think the best course of action would be to hook the two monoblocks up to the sub, connect the sub to the speaker selector, and then use the LFE connection to my AVR, and hook the AVR to the selector.

How viable will this be? I of course dont want to hurt any of my equipment. I think this is an interesting predicament but please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks again everyone!

I might be able to run the monoblocks through the sub, take the preouts on the AVR to the Freya in HT bypass mode (which i think is the first setting on the freya) after removing the current bridge, and then hook the SPDIF out from my tv to the AVR. Thats probably my best option from what i've been going over because then i can ditch the switcher all together. Please let me know what yall think! Theres a chance i wont be able to connect the monoblocks to the sub but im sure there's some sort of way!
