Help removing trim for refoam on Infinity RS 325, Please

Hey, guys.

So I have this set of Infinity RS 325 speakers here and they need a foam job. I can't figure out how to get the trim pieces off the drivers though.

I'm sure they just need to be pried off, but I really don't want to break them.

Any suggestions?

I just finished replacing the surrounds on the same speakers. The glue used is tough, almost like a black tar. I used an exacto knife to cut under the ring to start, then a sharp puddy knife. Then slowly pry up from the outer part of the ring with a small flat screwdriver working your way around a little at a time.

Maybe try a heat gun or hair dryer? Go around and try to soften the glue then pry off. Good luck!
