So I bought an old Sony TCS-430 at a discounted price because it needed a new belt. Bought the recorder and the belt separately and planned to replace the belt myself. The player has arrived but I'm not sure how to properly remove the back. I removed all the screws on the back of the player and while the plate seems almost ready to come off it still clings to the device on one side. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have experience doing this and can tell me the correct steps to take to remove the back without breaking anything?
