Help: Sony amplifier F660 ESCD input feeds all inputs

Swiching to "Tuner", for example, goes quiet for a second & the CD keeps playing. It worked until a month ago, no changes have been made. Should I just junk the 660? Sorry for typo: the Sony TA-F606ES is the amplifier - the CD input distributes across all the switched inputs.

TA-F606ES is correct model number. I edited the details, but could not edit the typo in the original post. Thanks for the welcome!

i found a picture of the TA-F606ES . i didnt look at schematics . but i see it will be electronic switching . might be one 28 pin chip .if so its not really difficult to fix . these chips are sensitive to spikes . just hot plugging inputs can damage them .
