Help....subsonic madness

I tested with other amps, but I STILL have subsonic like crazy on the right speaker which is equidistance from the amp compared to left speaker. I swapped RCA's. Still there.

Could my SX1010 have an issue causing subsonic rumble on only one channel? It has been fully restored, so I'm at a loss. I even swapped carts.....same thing. Or could it be since the amp is directly below the TT, that for some reason only 1 channel is getting subsonic rumble??

Very odd.

You stated that you swapped amps and still heard the rumble from your right speaker. If so, I don't see how your amp (the SX1010) could be at fault.

Okay, I sorta misspoke. I connected my CA-810 Yammie and there was a very small ripple in the right speaker. It sits two shelves away from the tt, whereas the 1010 sits directly beneath.

So, to me, it sure seems like some sort of transference, but why on earth would it only be on the right side??

I'm going to disconnect the amp and sit it in the floor away from everything later, see what happens.

Never heard of this single channel problem, then all of a sudden two AKers are suffering with it. Crazy.
