HELP technics SL-Q3

I just purchased a technics SL-Q3 with the original cartridge in perfect condition and was just wondering what needles would work with it. The seller told me that it uses SHURE needles, but I'm worried that they won't fit on the vintage cartridge. Some info and help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Shure made a lot of carts we can't help you without a picture.

its not a shure cartridge, its the original technics that came with the SL-Q3.

This is what originally came on the tt. Are you sure this is what is on there now? If so, that stylus is what it accepts. If the seller was correct and it takes Shure styli, then this (the picture) cannot be the stylus on there now, and the cartridge must have been changed at some time in the past. However, in any case, you are not limited to these two options. There are many cartridges you could use. A picture of what is actually on your tonearm would be helpful.
