I come to you to see if you can help me with your knowledge to bring this pioneer deck back to life.
I have a Pioneer CT-F500 with the following problems.
Auto stop failure:
When I insert a cassette and press play, after a few seconds it stops for no reason. This happens with any cassette. You press play and the playback lasts a few seconds and then the stop key jumps. Is it very difficult to solve?
Second problem - Engine sensor:
Over time the problem worsened more. This pioneer CT-F500 has a sensor that activates the motor when the play button is pressed.
What I mean by this? When the deck is turned on, the lights come on but the motor does not start to rotate. Only the motor starts rotating when the play button is pressed to play a cassette. But currently, no matter how much the play button is pressed, the motor does not rotate, as if it were not receiving an electrical signal (even though all its cables are well connected). How complicated would it be to solve this problem?
Finally: The rubber wheel of the pinch roller remains permanently raised.
As you can see in the photo, the rubber wheel that moves the tape during playback is raised even though the play button is not pressed. I would like to know if it is very difficult to disassemble to reposition it in its original place and that it remains raised only when the play button is pressed.
I don't have technical instructions, nor do I have much to lose here... But I would really like to bring this machine back to life, where I think its mechanism is more complex than other decks with similar characteristics that I have seen.
