My Onkyo Integra TX-108 just stopped working. It's still powering up and the lights and meters are still working but the relay is not clicking on (and obviously, no audio) what would cause this? (from most simple to worse case! )
thanks so much!

Simple? DC offset has drifted to a point where the relay refused to engage. More complex? The protection circuitry is bOrked, or you've blown some transistors, or a low-voltage regulator that supplies voltage to the relay coil is bOrked.

I had the same problem with a TX-85 of that same line-up, I ended up selling it to my friend, and do i regret it, it was a good sounding unit at 85 watts rms. the bird.

check your relay, I replace about 1 a week for customers. if it were transistors you most likely would have heard it blow the last time you used it. relays die, like points in an old car. take the cover off and tap on it while you turn it on, use a plastic screwdriver handle. Usually this will let it free up enough to switch, don't wack it to hard with the power on incase you force it and do even more damage if any has been done. This is a mechanical device and it does fail quite often in older systems.
