hi. Looking to add a 2 channel amp to a secondary system I have in my bonus room.
Currently running an Onkyo A-9050 and it drives Revel F12’s.
I also run a modded Technics SL1200 MK2 with phono preamp
Looking for a nice discrete 2 channel maybe class A/B. Budget around $700. Would like to stay under that but not sacrifice much.
I have been looking at some pre-owned Emo’s. Maybe the XPA-2

Technics SU-V8X would be a good call... 120W/Ch with MM/MC phono

Same power amp section as the more costly SE-A5MK2 power amp.

Should have some coin to do a few other bits to the system... probably cartridge etc...

And the 6 ohm speakers you have won’t be an issue.
