Help with a Grado GT cartridge

Hello everyone, today I got a very well-maintained (or so I thought) Sony PS-X600 (as an upgrade to my Sony PS-LX55), that came with a Grado GT stylus. However, When I sat down for a listening session it sounded awful...I did the most sensible that a newbie would do and took off the cartridge and found this...

I'm not sure what to make of it...
Long story short, do I need to get a new stylus and replace the whole cartridge?
Thanks ahead for all your wisdom!!

It looks like the cantilever is rotated 90 degrees in the stylus housing. Replace the stylus. New Grado stylus will fit on your cartridge body.
