Help with Adcom GFA 555

About a month back I recapped the small board on this amp and everything worked perfectly. Today I tried changing out the filter caps with 18,000 100volt caps. I powered it on with a 150 watt bulb in my dim bulb tester. The bulb lights brightly then dims and then starts to get brighter and brighter. I believe I might have a short but I'm not really sure what the problem is.

I accidentally disconnected the led that indicates the power, but I doubt this would be the issue. I double checked the polarity on the filter caps and everything appears correct.

Any advice on how to trouble shoot this?

I bought the caps as part of a kit, and they included many spacers and washers along with the screws. Do I need to use enough spacers to make sure there's room for the resistor and cap underneath?

Hey Will, not an expert here but you might want to recheck your solder joints on those filter caps, also if you happened to unsolder those film caps c06-09 check your new solder joints there too. My GFA-555 is also currently non-op, bought new in 1986. I assume yours is 1st generation? Also you might need to adjust your bias alignment now that you replaced the filter caps.
