I'm thinking of buying either a Proton D-540 or a Luxman L-30 amp. Right now I'm using a Yamaha CR-55 with Allison Three speakers and a Thorens table. The system sounds best to me when it's playing blues or jazz at lowish volumes, what it does not sounds good with is rock and roll at any kind of a louder volume...
So, I'm hoping to get some opinions about these amps without taking them home to try in my set up, because they aren't at a shop there on Used Victoria.
