Help with LED upgrade on a Technics Sl-1600 MK2

Hello,

I'm in the process of bringing back to life an old SL-1600 MK2 I found. Took it apart, cleaned it, had it powder coated, etc. I would like to upgrade the target light to LED but cannot find a tutorial for this specific model. I found quite a few for the SL-1200 Mk2 but the problem is that the electrical for the SL-1600 Mk2 is a bit different. I'm not very knowledgeable or comfortable figuring this out so I'm reaching out for some help. Any help would be much appreciated.

There should be a schematic for it over at the vinylengine.....

Is there anything wrong with the current target light? If not, do not "upgrade".
