Help with Luxman L30

HI there,
I have a nice luxman L30 that was restored that use daily! I also picked up one cheap from Kijiji that has a bit of scratchy noises and is completely original never been serviced.
I would like to do the upgrade on the Hans site with the exception of that annoying blue led. Would like to put in a small switch for the light if possible as I listen in the dark alot.
I live in Canada and would like to source the upgraded parts locally if possible. Does anyone have a parts list I can use?
This would be my 2nd amp recap but the first with a good quality iron and a more stable hand.
I also need a multimeter. I'd like to spend around $100 and get a good quality one. The one I have is a old radioshack with anolog view meters.

You got a lamp under the volume control? That looks weird. Put a switch in.

US supplier that will ship to Canada for Free is Digikey if you mail em a check with our order. Probably have add correct taxes, depending on how your province and country feel about that. I had to start added PA sales tax a couple years ago when PA said vendors need to charge the tax. Still cheaper than paying shipping unless it is a $100 order.

I build a parts list from what is installed in the amp it is frequently different from what is in the service manual for some pieces. Also the info on Hans' site should help you upgrade parts. Open up the unit and get out a pencil, paper and marker to mark each unit you have written down. Mark toward a certain direction and if you pull the part out and forget the orientation, that mark will show up in the picture of the unit you take before you start and you can determine what direction the part was installed. Not all service manuals or board markings are correct and putting things back as they were in a working amp usually results in the positive outcome.

So you rekon from factory they might not all be the exact same?

I know for a fact that every manufacturer has differences inside the units over time. I don't think any manufacturer has provided service manuals with lists of components or schematics and such without ever making a mistake. I know that most manufacturers that do identify the + terminal of a cap on the board have made mistakes on board markings.

This all boils down to if you have the unit in front of you and it worked, order the same parts as are in that particular unit. I up the voltage of electrolytic caps to 25V minimum and use film caps for anything 1µF or below sometimes up to 4.7µF space allowing.
