This amp was sold to me for $25. When first turned on, the protect light went off(relay clicked), then 5 seconds later, back in protect mode.
Pin 14 has 38V. I can watch it slowly drop to around 10V, then relay engages.
Now amp is in protect mode all the time.
Did the usual voltage checks, replaced Q1 and Q2 and Q7. Same issue. I then removed Q6, I thought I had ordered it
For giggles, turned on the amp and it comes out of protect mode after 5 seconds, and relay clicks. Checked Q6 and tested good(diode test). Re-installed Q6, protect mode always on again. I noticed only when I install the "C" of Q6, does the protect mode stay on.
Also, when Q6 is removed, out of protect mode, DC offset is around 1.2V on pins 3 and 23 of power amp board and turning V1 /V2 respectivly has no results on the voltage
