Help with Sony TA-E1000ESD Right Channel extremely low volume

Hello. I'd appreciate any assistance anyone could give or offer.

I'm the original owner of a Sony TA-E1000ESD pre-amplifier which I bought new in 1990. I used it for about ten years before storing it away. I recently brought it out of storage and connected it to an amplifier and a set of speakers and am having an issue with the right channel volume being barely audible. I've narrowed the issue down to the TA-E1000ESD itself by making sure the issue wasn't with the amplifier or the RCA cables. I have confirmed that the issue involves the right channel line output.

The right channel volume only becomes audible (barely) at about the 2-3 o'clock volume knob position. I cleaned the volume POT with DeOxit which helped the motorized volume to work smoothly but had no effect on fixing the low volume issue on the right channel. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to what may be causing this issue? Thanks!
