Help with Sony TC 788-4 Belt

I recently acquired a Sony TC-788-4 tape deck that is need of a new belt.
I was able to locate a replacement belt but I cannot figure out how to install
the belt. I have a copy of the service manual but it does not address the issue
of replacing belts.

Assistance would be greatly appreciated as I want to get this tape deck up and
running.
