Hey all! I’m new to the community and I have some questions about a pair of cerwin vega ls-12 that my dad found me for free. Both of these speakers are in great condition but I’m curious what model of receiver would be best for these speakers

First of all welcome aboard and congrats on your 1st post since you joined in 2017

I'm not tying to be rude but your question is extremely vague and opens up way too many variables.

What is your definition of "best"?

Are you considering used or new?

What market/markets will you be acquiring the receiver?

What genre or genre's of music do you or will be listening to?

Do you play music LOUD? do you play it at reasonable levels?

Room set up is an important factor, large room? small, medium?

There are literally hundreds & hundreds of models of receivers not to mention a lot of different manufacturers so if you could clarify what it is you're looking to accomplish that will help narrow down the suggestions for you.

Most times there is no absolute "best".
Hundreds of models have been made by dozens of manufacturers.
As mentioned those are efficient speakers so that will help as far as what would be a good match for them.

No such thing as best receiver.

Pick one that works and you'll be fine.

Maybe a bit more descriptive title, too. That would bring out the Cerwin Vega fans with their recommendations. So many threads on ak just folks looking for help this one could get lost in the shuffle but you have gotten some answers. Whatever you try will probably work well.
