HELPPPPP What AMp should I use for a wierd ahh DAP like this one???

SO I have the Z6 Audio player it sounds great with default settings and is enjoyable but recentley I wanted more BASS but bass distorts TERRIBLY when I tweak the EQ a tiny bit!!!!!
So most dongle amp's/dacs have a female 3.5mm to a C connector but this DAP ONLY has a "Line out" and a Headphone jack both are 3.5mm (The C-connector is for charging only, WHAT should I dooooo)

Change your eq strategy so that you cut frequencies instead of boost?

If the EQ has a scale that goes from (say) +10db down to -10db like this:

+10 -

+5 -

0 - Keep your bass frequencies here or -1db and cut the midrange and higher frequencies -1 or -2db to your taste.

-5 -

-10 -

Then, you'll get more bass when you turn it up, but it shouldn't clip / distort until you get a bit higher on your volume setting.

Wow, I just did this and yes the Bass is much better 0 Distortion!!!! I still think an amp would help more though but for now im happy!!!!!
