Here's a weird one

No affiliation, actually looks really cool to me

The quality may be on the lower end...I don't know that for sure, but if it works like he says it does I'd grab that if it was close simply for its unique design.

Bradford, IIRC, was W.T. Grant's private label. Several companies sold these back in the day - the Weltron style, especially, with an 8 track built in, still brings quite a bit of money.

Happy trails,

Yeah, these style stereos may or may not sound great, but they tend to bring some coin. I'm guessing purely on style?

Definitely NOT 50's era. 70's would be more like it...

I spoke with her. Was her recently passed husband's. It has been in storage in her basement. He purchased somewhere around 1965. She believes there may be speakers but she can't locate them right now. She hooked up a speaker and the receiver played.

The unit is a W. T. Grant Bradford model #51904. It is just a TT and Receiver. Since I could find no other info on this I'm preserving the ad and pix.

If this was closer I'd buy this, it would look cool in one of our rooms in our mid century modern house and would pair up nicely (I think) with some vintage Zenith Circle of Sound speakers I have.

But I checked; $300 to ship via UPS (so unless the AK Pony Express works and I'll post their next, I have to pass).

Rgds, Mike

Looks like its sold. I thought about it but had no good place for it. It'll be better served on display rather than in my basement.
